S&C Electric Company Receives Multiple Honors as a Top Workplace for Company Culture, Leadership, and Innovation

S&C is recognized nationally and regionally by staff, ranking among the top 100 employers nationally.

CHICAGO, IL –May 15, 2024 – Top Workplaces USA has honored S&C Electric Company, a leading innovator of resilient grid technology, as one of the top employers in the United States for the fourth year. The award celebrates companies that prioritize a people-centered culture and inclusive workplace.

Approximately 7,000 organizations actively participate in the annual Top Workplaces program, but only 100 companies received recognition in 2024. The national survey results were published in USA Today.

Additionally, the company received culture badges for Innovation, Purpose & Values, Leadership, Work-Life Balance, and Compensation & Benefits. These honors highlight the company’s strongest core values and are awarded to the top 25% of surveyed companies in each category.

In addition, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel named S&C as one of Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin’s 2024 Top Workplaces for the second year.

To determine the national and regional winners, third-party firm Energage gathers direct employee feedback in an anonymous survey.

In addition, the city of Chicago and World Business Chicago honored S&C with a 2023 Manufacturing award in the Workforce Development and Productivity category. The award recognizes businesses with a proven record of implementing training programs to prepare their workforce for the jobs of the future.
